Anyone ever had their eyebrows tattooed or know someone who has? I keep thinking about it, wondering if it's something for me. I just don't want my brows to end up like those old ladies who have dark arched clown brows. You know what I'm talking about, right? Or those eyebrows that look like a stencil with the perfectly straight lines and sharp edges. I don't want it to look like a tattoo or even like I'm wearing make-up... I'd just want them to look like I have brows. Normal filled in brows. And it's tough finding good before and after photos cause so many of the after photos are right after- they're still pink and puffy and shiny. They say they fade and all- those are the pictures I'd like to see before I decide to do it. There are some places in the area that do it, but I'm not sure if they're good or how you find out if they're good or if they do eyebrows that end up looking like the ones I fear. Also, I don't know what's a reasonable price. What's outrageous? What's too good to be true? Who knows. I probably won't have enough guts to do it anyway. Maybe I should just try to grow my own brows!! There's a novel idea ;)
I had mine tattooed back in '07. They faded really fast, but I can still see them... and they're not the same shape as my eyebrow at all! I didn't like them and felt like they were too harsh. Also, they faded to an orangey-red color after a while... not good! I paid about $300 for them at the time, and liked them in the beginning... but now that my brows are more grown in, I wish I hadn't have had them done because I can still see the red lines where my eyebrows don't even grow!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing, Aunie! That's exactly what I wanted to hear- someone's actual experience. Sorry you didn't have a great experience though- that sucks. I'm thinking I might be sticking to my brow pencil for now and try harder to get some growth.
DeleteYour brows look great by the way!! :)
