Little update
Overall, May was a great month. I went 19 days pull free and had a couple additional pull free days... that's like the majority of the month! So that's awesome and something to be proud of too. But June hasn't been as great as May. All of May's progress is gone. The growth I achieved is gone. Oh, and I've been bad at taking my NAC... haven't taken it consistently since Memorial Day weekend. I really need a kick in the pants- I'd like to attempt another pull free streak (sooner then later). I just need to do it!
Wow- looking at this picture... I really did lose a lot of progress. My lashes were long enough where I could curl them. I almost looked normal. Not lush, full lashes... but almost normal. I still needed to fill in my brows (they are so light in color), but the definitely were more filled in. And that's all gone now.
Oh, the ups and downs of trich!

From Josie Sanctis's facebook:
"Who wants to help raise awareness for #trichotillomania, support the Trichotillomania Learning Center AND help me get to Mrs. America?"
Mrs. North Carolina America 2013 Josie Sanctis is doing a fundraiser right now that will help spread awareness about trich while supporting Trichotillomania Learning Center and help her, the Trichotillomania Awareness Ambassador, get to Mrs. America. She is selling Trichotillomania Awareness Bands on ebay. You get a bracelet to help spread awareness, $1 from each sale goes to TLC and your helping Josie get to Mrs. America.
Good luck, Josie!
Love the Kid President... cutest kid ever. Check out his pep talk. We could all use a pep talk once in awhile.
"We were made to be awesome. Let's get out there!"
"It's everybody's duty to do good and give the world a reason to dance."

A message from Josie, Mrs North Carolina 2013
This was posted on Josie's facebook page yesterday:
Family, friends and followers,
I am being honest, if it wasn't for the Trichotillomania Learning Center sending this video out to over 15,000 people already, I am not sure I would have had the guts to post it. My makeup has always been my mask for covering up the results of #trichotillomania and I never in a billion year imagined sharing the side of me without makeup to the public.
I pray this video reaches those who are searching for the answer to their hair pulling or skin picking problem and raises all kinds of awareness!
I never thought I would say this, but please share this video? I guess what I am saying is, I am all in!
A HUGE thank you to Will Johnson for doing this video for me and TLC. Also to Jackie Green for doing my makeup :) and last but most certainly not least, to my husband Andrew for encouraging me to do it. I love you!
Trichees and their supporters,
God loves you and so do I
Way to go, Josie!!!
